Goodbye, my friend

Well, I guess this is the end of an era. With the Cubs trading for Kevin Gregg, there is no need for Kerry Wood. The face of the franchise since Sammy Sosa and his decline isn't worth a multi-year 6 million dollar/year contact, according to the team. It is projected that this Gregg/Wood swap will cost the Cubs at least 2 wins next year. If this is the direction we are headed this off-season, I dread what happens next.

We won't see this anymore next year, so goodbye and good luck, Kerry. You will be sorely missed.
